INTERCON ROPE ACCESS, is a member of GWO (Global Wind Organisation) since 2018 as Basic Safety Training (BST) provider. And now we added a brand new scope,  GWO ART / "Advanced Rescue Training"  to our training services range and continuing to serve to the sector companies within Turkey.

INTERCON-RA is a Certified Training Provider for GWO BST - Basic Safety Training and GWO ART - Advanced Rescue Training Certification Modules.

GWO (Global Wind Organization) is an organization founded by wind turbine manufacturers and operators to create a safer and more productive workforce, starting with the Basic Safety Training to the wind turbine industry, following its ideals and principles.

As one of the GWO Training Providers, Basic Security Training (BST), which we will offer you with the same ideal and principles, will be carried out by our highly appreciated Trainers. Reflecting our desire to provide service without compromising our quality of training, we have chosen our Trainers as competent individuals who are certificated by not only in GWO but also in different institutions in their own professions.

Facility evolution being the core; we have designed & constructed an impressive training facility With separate classes for each group training, open and closed training areas, specific Personal Protective Equipment and drill equipment for each participant.

In our scenarios and practical trainings, we focused on simulating the wind turbine and included the equipment in different turbines that a technician could use.

We made our First Aid trainings approved by the Turkish Ministry of Health so that the participants could obtain first aid trainings not only in accordance with global legislation and GWO specificity, but also according to national legislation.

INTERCON Rope Access and Training Services Inc. is an authorised Rope Access Technician training facility from IRATA (International Rope Access Technicians Assosiation) and SPRAT (Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians). Training contents are defined according to IRATA and SPRAT certification specifications.

In our trainings, the attendees learns not only the necesssary basic manoeuvres performed during rope Access techniques, also the requirements for working as a part of several industrial projects.

As INTERCON-RA is also an authorised Rope Access Site Operation Company, we are performing our trainings with our most experienced trainers whom are qualified in different types of Indistrial Projects which includes Rope Access.

Work at height' means work in any place where, if there were no precautions in place, a person could fall a distance liable to cause personal injury INTERCON provides Occupational Security Trainings when Working at Height for industries such as construction & telecommunication, power, oil, & petro-chemical which require working in elevated levels. For each & every task, hand in hand with risk of fall, the danger of fatalities & major injuries emerge as elevation commences. Maintaining preventive HSE equipment in inventory is simply not enough; training the employees for how to use the equipment & react to probable accidents is essential.

Being aware of potential ; Employers and those in control of work at height must first assess the risks. The key messages here are;

To avoid work at height where it is reasonably practicable to do so

• Where work at height cannot be easily avoided, prevent falls using either an existing place of work that is already safe or the right type of equipment
• Minimise the distance and consequences of a fall, by using the right type of equipment where the risk cannot be eliminated

Within the security culture cultivated by trainings of INTERCON; it is deemed essential for employees of construction & petro-chemical firms, telecommunication firms of which are responsible for installation of base stations & pole erections, energy sector firms operating in wind turbines, Hydroelectric & natural gas conversion Power Plants, cleaning firms working in high-rise window cleaning to gain the ability to utilize occupational security equipment & rope techniques. With regard to collective safety rule, these employees must be trained to save their collegues as well as themselves in a possible accidents and emergency evacuation in case of a fire. INTERCON-RA provides theoretical & practical Rope Access, Rescue & Emergency Evacuation trainings within its facilities located in İzmir via SPRAT and/or IRATA certified trainers. Requied necessary; trainings are also carried out in Customer Facilites.

INTERCON Rope Access and Training Services Inc. performs IRATA, SPRAT Rope Access, GWO BST, GWO ART, Working at Height and Working in Confined Space Trainings in our Training Facility based in Menemen İZMİR TURKİYE. Our facility has 1000 squaremeters indoor training area with a height of 8 meters and has steel construction especially designed for any Level of Rope Access Technician requirements which is also flexible and can be manipulated accoding to any possible changes in training specifications.

Also our facility includes an actual industrial Drum for performing Confined Space demonstrations and specially designed scaffolding for Working at Height Trainings.
